چکیده: (2591 مشاهده)
شهر تاریخی اوجان یکی از شهرهای مهم دورۀ تاریخی و ایلخانی در شمالغرب ایران و در آذربایجانشرقی قرار دارد. از بررسی و کاوش شهر تاریخی اوجان توسط هیأت باستانشناسی دانشگاه تهران تعدادی سکه یافت و یا اهداء شده است که در این پژوهش، 14 عدد سکه را که تا حد امکان پاکسازی و مطالعه شده و درنهایت کتیبهها و نقوش آنها مورد بررسی و خوانش قرار گرفته در این پژوهش ارائه شده است. هدف این پژوهش خوانش و مکانیابی محل ضرب سکههاست. دو پرسش اساسی این پژوهش: 1- شناسایی آلیاژ سکهها (؟)، 2- آگاهی از نوشتهها و کتیبۀ سکههاست(؟). ضمن معرفی سکهها به ویژگیهای آنها پرداخته شده است. همۀ این سکهها بهجز یک مورد، به سبک سکههای «ابوسعید» آخرین ایلخان قدرتمند مغول که در شهر اوجان زاده شده، ضرب شدهاند. براساس تجزیۀ عنصری انجامشده بیشتر سکهها از مس ساخته شدهاند. دو نمونه از سکهها از آلیاژ مفرغ (مس - قلع) و یک سکه از آلیاژ برنج (مس - روی) ساخته شده است. در ترکیب آلیاژی تمامی سکهها سرب گزارش شده است. چون شهر اوجان پایتخت تابستانی ایلخانان مغول بوده، تقریباً همۀ سکهها ضرب ضربخانۀ تبریز هستند. این موضوع شاید بهدلیل اهمیت تجاری و اقتصادی تبریز در دورۀ ایلخانان است و سکهای که در شهر اوجان ضرب شده باشد تاکنون از این محوطه یافت نشده است.
