نویافته‌های کاوش لایه‌نگاری در محوطۀ قلعه یئری کورائیم، اردبیل

محوطه‌های باستانی دشت اردبیل شواهدی بنیادین برای شناخت توالی‌های فرهنگی شمال‌غرب ایران و بررسی تعاملات این منطقه با فلات ایران، قفقاز جنوبی و آناتولی شرقی فراهم می‌کنند. درمیان این محوطه‌ها، تپۀ قلعه‌یئری کورائیم از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. نتایج نخستین فصل کاوش‌های لایه‌نگارانه این محوطه در ۱۴۰۲ه‍.ش. براساس داده‌های کاوش دو گمانه حاصل شده است. گمانۀ I با هدف دستیابی به توالی کامل استقراری محوطه و گمانۀ II با تمرکز بر نهشته‌های مرتبط با افق عصر مفرغ قدیم ماوراءقفقاز (کورا-ارس) ایجاد شد. کاوش‌ها شواهد باستان‌شناختی قابل‌توجهی شامل بقایای معماری سنگ‌چین خشک و خشت‌گلی، تأسیسات صنعتی نظیر کوره‌ها، شواهد فلزکاری و مجموعه‌های گستردۀ سفالی را آشکار ساخت. در گمانۀ I توالی لایه‌نگاری منسجم و نسبتاً کاملی به ضخامت حدود ۱۴٫۶متر مستند شد که دربرگیرندۀ لایه‌های متوالی و گاه متناوب دارای سفال‌های دوران اسلامی، تاریخی و عصر مفرغ است. این توالی یکی از پیوسته‌ترین شواهد لایه‌نگاری شناخته‌شده در بخش شرقی شمال‌غرب ایران به‌شمار می‌رود. در گمانۀ II شواهد مهمی از فعالیت‌های فلزکاری شامل: بقایای کوره، سرباره، قطعات سنگ معدن مس، قالب‌های سفالی و بوته‌های فلزگری به‌دست آمد که نشان‌دهندۀ ذوب، پالایش و تولید اشیائ فلزی در عصر مفرغ قدیم است؛ هم‌چنین بقایای جانوری، عمدتاً گوسفند و گاو، و بقایای گیاهی به‌ویژه گندم و جو، بیانگر اقتصادی مبتنی‌بر کشاورزی و دامداری است. یافته‌های ویژه‌ای هم‌چون ابزارهای ابسیدینی، سردوک‌ها، سنگ‌ساب‌ها، ابزارهای استخوانی و پیکرک‌های سفالی نیز گویای فعالیت‌های معیشتی، اقتصادی و نمادین جوامع ساکن محوطه از عصر مفرغ تا دوره‌های تاریخی و اسلامی هستند. باتوجه به فقدان تاریخ‌گذاری مطلق، چارچوب گاهنگاری محوطه برپایۀ گاهنگاری نسبی و گونه‌شناسی سفال استوار است. نتایج پژوهش، تداوم بلندمدت استقرار را نشان می‌دهد که با دو وقفۀ عمدۀ سکونتی، احتمالاً درنتیجه فعالیت‌های زمین‌ساختی مرتبط با گسل سنگاور و نیز تحولات محیطی و تاریخی منطقه، همراه بوده است.
