Research on manuscripts and historical inscriptions is of the utmost importance since they lead to a correct understanding and resolving of many uncertainties and unknown dimensions of material and spiritual cultural heritage. Countless number of different types of historical documents are not available to the researchers for various reasons or access to them is associated with many diffculties. The "Family Tree" detected in the village of Sokeh, as environs of city Shirvan, Northern Khorasan, which is a unique manuscript scroll, appears to be among such documents. In an initial review of this pedigree chart, the names of a number of historical and religious places and fgures located in parts of the Great Khorasan were identifed. Hence, the fundamental question of this research is based on evaluating the dimensions of the relationship between the information contained with the historical sites and historical, religious and mystical fgures buried in parts of the areas mentioned. The main question that arises is whether the
information contained in this pedigree chart in the forms of interest, including historical and geographical sites and cultural celebrities can be categorized or not? Due to lack of resources and information about places mentioned in the pedigree chart and lack of suffcient knowledge of the spiritual heritage, this document contains information that may lead to ambiguities unraveling and revealing of facts and identifying the nature and identity of historic and religious places, and in particular, the mausoleum buildings of the studied areas. Therefore, examining this family tree would include the genealogy of some religious and mystical characters of Khorasan and locating their burial site in the region, such as the recognition of the famous mystic "Khwaja Najmuddīn-e Kubrā", son of "Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din Kubra" and compliance his tomb with the building of "Khwaja Najmuddīn mausoleum", located in the village of Zirabad Jovin. The detection of range and location of historic towns and villages such as "Shadiyakh, Nishapur" and "Zirabad, Jovin" would be as other results of the research.
