Hozdar city is one of the historical areas of Sistan, which despite the destruction of most of its historical buildings, special decorations and brickwork can still be seen in the remains of its buildings and this shows the presence of impressive decorations in these buildingsThe decorative elements in these buildings have designs and patterns that were specific to the architecture of this region, which are now in danger of destruction. So, the purpose of this research is as follow: Recognizing and analyzing different types of decorations in the historical monuments of Hozdar city; In order to recognize and revive these foundations in today's architecture and try to preserve them, and also revival of valuable historical decorative patterns of Hozdar city of Sistan. Research question is: What types of decorations are there in the historical monuments of Hozdar city? To answer the research, question this research has been done using inductive research strategy and descriptive-analytical method. Data collection has been done by using authentic document sources in the theoretical foundations section and conducting field studies using observation and interview. Finally, the research results showed that in terms of design and pattern, certain types of geometric motifs have been used in the decoration of the historical monuments of Hozdar city and the dominant decorations used in these buildings are made using the pattern and pattern index, and most of the decorations used in these buildings are done by using design and pattern, and color has the least impact among the examined components.
