It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Iranian Conservation Science Journal. It provides a perfect opportunity to a specialized English-language devoted to publication of original & review contributions concerning science and technology for conservation and resoration of cultural heritage.
The journal will include up-to-date, high-quality, and original contributions - research papers, reviews, dealing with quesions on how, why and when Conservation Science occur and succeed, fail and disappear, and what can be done to influence the outcome. ICSJ is served by a very competent editorial board along with a network of scholars from all around the world and different disciplines helping to secure high-quality, originality and utility of the contributions – and, thereby, the impact of the work published in the journal.
ICSJ will therefore encourage contributions that make rigorous use of variety of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches. The journal will also welcome critical debate between opposing perspectives. Any papers that you wish to submit, either individually or co-operatively, are much appreciated and will make a subsantial contribution to the development and success of the journal.
